Cindy Newkirk, our Environmental Educator, offers assistance and educational resources to schools and community groups, and provides leadership in the District's conservation education/information program. Please contact Cindy at the District office, to schedule a program or for further information on our educational services. AVAILABLE PROGRAMS All programs are provided free of charge by the Soil and Water Conservation District, and are available to any school or preschool in Hancock County. To schedule, just call your Education Coordinator, Cindy Newkirk at the number above. The average length of time is about 45 minutes to an hour, the time and content are tailored to your students age and needs. Please let me know if the program will introduce, supplement, or review that topic for your class. Programs are Hands-On Learning Experiences; meeting State Science proficiencies.
